I love the fact that the piano music is the lead character's voice and how she expresses herself outside of writing notes on a little notepad she carries around her neck. I think "elective mute" is the correct term to describe her, but the music is wonderfully expressive as a result, and totally integral to the character andthe movie. Definitely worth watching if you're a pianist! Absolutely!
